    Barnard Campus Tours

    Welcome to Barnard!

Campus tours are currently offered in limited capacity on select days at 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM U.S. Eastern Time. Registration is required. The campus tour lasts approximately one-hour and covers academics, campus life, student services, and residential living. Due to space limitations, we ask that you limit your party to two people (the student and one additional guest).

If campus tours are full, students and families are welcome to walk around campus for self-guided tours Monday through Friday between 9 AM and 5 PM. Upon arrival, please check-in at the Admissions Visitor Center where a Barnard Student Admissions Representative will be available to greet you and provide walking tour booklets.

We require all guests to abide by the safety protocols listed below:

    1. We ask each member of your party to complete the Visitor/Vendor Form within 3 hours before entering campus.
    2. All students and families will need to wear a face mask at all times. We strongly recommend you avoid cloth masks and wear well-fitting masks of the highest grade possible (surgical masks, N95, KN95). If you do not have a mask, we will be prepared to provide you with one at check-in.
    3. Please do not enter any buildings. The exception are the Admissions Visitor Center and the Diana Center lobby.
    4. If you or any of your guests meet the following criteria, we ask that you stay home and do not visit campus at this time out of considerations for the health and safety of the Barnard Community:
    • You have been instructed to quarantine or isolate by your local health department and your visit to campus would fall during your required quarantine/isolation period.
    • You have met the definition of COVID-19 exposure by close contact within the past 10 days and you do not meet the exposure-exemption criteria set by the New York State Department of Health (i.e. the exposure occurred more than 14 days but fewer than 90 days after a final vaccine dose OR the exposure occurred no more than 90 days following a positive COVID-19 diagnostic test)
    • You had a positive COVID-19 diagnostic test recently and the following are not true:
      • It has been at least 10 days since your symptoms started (if you were symptomatic) or since the collection date of your positive test; and
      • You have not had a fever for the last 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing drugs; and
      • Your overall illness has improved
    • You are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms
