    Barnard Self-Guided Walking Tours

    Welcome to Barnard!
We are now offering self-guided walking tours of campus. Space is limited and offered daily between 9AM-12PM and 1-5PM.

We will provide walking tour booklets at the front gates but please know that we will not be holding official tours or information sessions. In addition, the Office of Admissions and the Office of Financial Aid will be closed.

Due to space limitations, we ask that you limit your party to two additional guests.

In addition, we require all guests to abide by the safety protocols listed below:
    1. We ask each member of your party to complete the Visitor Form within 3 hours before entering campus.
    2. All students and families will need to wear a face mask at all times and maintain 6ft social distance from others outside of your family unit.
    3. Please do not enter any buildings. The exception is for bathroom use, which are available on the first floor of Barnard Hall (the main building with pillars as you enter our gates).
    4. If you or any of your guests meet the following criteria, we ask that you stay home and do not visit campus at this time out of considerations for the health and safety of the Barnard Community:
    • You have been instructed to quarantine or isolate by your local health department and your visit to campus would fall during your required quarantine/isolation period.
    • You have met the definition of COVID-19 exposure by close contact within the past 10 days and you do not meet the exposure-exemption criteria set by the New York State Department of Health (i.e. the exposure occurred more than 14 days but fewer than 90 days after a final vaccine dose OR the exposure occurred no more than 90 days following a positive COVID-19 diagnostic test)
    • You had a positive COVID-19 diagnostic test recently and the following are not true:
      • It has been at least 10 days since your symptoms started (if you were symptomatic) or since the collection date of your positive test; and
      • You have not had a fever for the last 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing drugs; and
      • Your overall illness has improved
    • You are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms
